Priya is a marketing professional from Bengaluru, a dynamic hub known for its tech scene and vibrant food culture. After earning a degree in Languages, she transitioned from classrooms to newsrooms, building style guides, commissioning features, and leading cross-functional edits for multilingual audiences.

She enjoys exploring Indian gastronomy and often prepares traditional dishes like biryani and dosa in her kitchen (see our Culture section for more). She is also a language enthusiast who speaks three languages fluently and enjoys sharing techniques with fellow learners. When she is not contributing to the website, she likes spending time with family and friends, especially visiting peaceful spots like Lalbagh Botanical Garden.

SWATI

Swati, with a sharp eye for strategy and a deep love for all things Indian, is the digital voice behind our mission. Armed with a background in digital communication and audience engagement, she leads our outreach efforts with flair and precision. From creating eye-catching social media content to designing email campaigns people actually look forward to, she ensures our message stays clear, compelling, and culturally vibrant.

Passionate about India’s evolving identity, she brings hidden corners of Indian culture into the spotlight—shining a light on regional traditions, emerging voices, and moments of heritage that deserve to be seen and celebrated. If you've ever clicked on an article you didn’t expect to love but couldn’t stop reading, that’s probably her magic at work.

VIVEK

Vivek, born in Mumbai and raised on a steady diet of classical literature, folk music, and theatre, has always viewed language as more than just rules—it is a living, breathing expression of identity and culture. After earning his degree in Linguistics and Literature, he spent several years teaching Indian languages to international students and creating educational content for language learning platforms.

Now a Language Content Developer on our team, Vivek brings together academic rigor and a love for spoken, everyday language. When he is not writing or editing, you will likely find him wandering through local markets, scribbling phrases in his notebook at a café, or strolling along the Marine Drive—always observing, always absorbing.

DIVYA

Divya, born and raised in Delhi, grew up surrounded by bustling markets, rich street food, and the rhythmic diversity of Indian languages. Living in a place where history and modern life intertwine, she developed a deep appreciation for the stories, sounds, and soul of India—and found her purpose through its languages.

She joined us with one clear goal: to make Indian languages more accessible and authentic. In a digital world overflowing with generic phrases and clunky translations, she is committed to offering something real. And if her students walk away confidently understanding pronunciation nuances and connecting naturally with native speakers, mission accomplished!

SANDEEP

Sandeep proofreads texts and supervises our Indian language materials. He is passionate about teaching people about his country and sharing its linguistic diversity. He says he is proud to be part of such a diverse and inclusive society where anyone can find their place.

He enjoys watching football with his friends and is a big fan of Arsenal F.C., while also supporting the India national football team.
